As someone who paddles several times a week, I’m always hunting for ways to enhance my training and make my sessions more enjoyable and productive. One of the features in the Paddle Logger app that has transformed my training is the ability to drop markers during my paddling routes. Whether you’re a social paddler or a seasoned racer, using markers can add more value to your usual routine.
Crossing for Cystic Fibrosis 2024
This year's Crossing for Cystic Fibrosis event was a true test of endurance and resilience mentally, physically, and emotionally. The event proved to be far more challenging than anticipated, with unexpected obstacles and intense weather conditions adding to the physical and mental strain. Postponed twice due to severe thunderstorms, the race commenced under seemingly favorable downwinding conditions along the 32-mile course. However, the tranquility felt short-lived as a storm swept in around the 36km mark, transforming the serene ocean into what felt like an insane battleground.
10 Years of Paddle Logger
Ten years ago, Paddle Logger began its journey on a Cornish beach. Founder David, inspired by summers spent paddling, wondered how many miles were being clocked up. This curiosity sparked the creation of Paddle Logger, and with the help of Lewis, the first iteration was released a few months later—a unique app dedicated to ocean athletes.
