It was a great two-day event, featuring races on both Saturday and Sunday with a mixture of crafts including SUP, foils, va’a, windsurfers and more! In total, there were over 600 competitors. I was fortunate enough to win the SUP races on both days.

However, the tranquility felt short-lived as a storm swept in around the 36km mark, transforming the serene ocean into what felt like an insane battleground.

This curiosity sparked the creation of Paddle Logger, and with the help of Lewis, the first iteration was released a few months later—a unique app dedicated to ocean athletes.
