Since we launched, sustainability and caring for the environment has always been a core value for us here at Paddle Logger. We are paddlers and see it as our responsibility to help protect our ocean playground.

As a team we are small, but we have a great impact with users across the globe. As a company we want to punch above our weight in helping to address the environmental challenges which affect us all. The more we grow, both financially and in terms of audience and reach, the more impact we can have.

While we have always been conscious of our own actions and how the wider paddlesports industry impacts the environment, in 2020 we decided to formalise and record what we want to achieve and how we aim to do so in the future. We have been fortunate in that Paddle Logger, the business, has matured in the past few years. In the closing months of 2020 we have further defined and distilled what we have always had in our heads. This has resulted in the following themes and report.

Our first Impact Report is a baseline document that sets out our values, goals and intentions, to help reduce our environmental impact as much as possible while increasing value to our paddlers.
