Head of the Dart 2026
This year’s Head of the Dart SUP Challenge will take place on Sunday 12th April. It’s the UK’s longest-running and one of the best attended SUP events, held on South Devon’s very scenic River Dart, between the towns of Totnes and Dartmouth. Attracting hundreds of paddlers from across the country and often further afield, really there’s no better way to start the SUP season!
We would love to see you there! Whether you are wanting to complete a challenge to start the year, try your hand at racing or simply want to come along and hang out and support. You will find an event village with representatives from some of the best and biggest brands in paddling. This year there is also a brand new range of Head of the Dart gear, with limited stock, ordering prior to the event will ensure you don’t miss out. ORDER HERE
With separate starts for race and leisure fleets, HOTD is as attractive to seasoned racers as it is to recreational paddlers with a great selection of prizes from the numerous event sponsors, including Starboard, Salcombe Gin, Paddle Logger and Red Paddle Co.
“Come and talk to us about the app and get your hands on exclusive merch and stickers!”
There has already been an excellent take-up of places, with [at the time of writing] less than twenty spots remaining, just two days after going live. If you’re keen to participate, please head to the website to learn more and click on the “How To Enter” section, directing through to the Webscorer entry page.
Due to the nature of the event, entries are limited to 300 paddlers, when the event is sold out (which it definitely will!) it will be possible to sign up to be added to the reserve list, please do so as there are always some drop-outs in the lead up to the big day.
