New Update: Ready to paddle?
2025.14 is here and with it we are putting your sessions front and centre.
Apple are releasing a new OS style this year, Liquid Glass comes with iOS26 and we took the opportunity to re-jig Paddle Logger a little. We think you will love the new updates and over the course of the next six months see why we have made these changes now - ready for a 2026 season.
When we started back in 2014, there were very few ways to track your sessions, as technology and the industry has grown there are more watches, apps, devices than ever. Following a platform native approach has meant we have always felt at home on iPhone and Apple Watch, maintaining consistency and putting paddlers first.
We have moved away from Tab views so we can highlight your paddling more, it puts your sessions first, with familiar best in class tracking just one tap away. This is the biggest change and it sets us up for some brand new features out later this year. Including unique ways to track your paddling progression and review your data, regardless of where your sessions are tracked. SO keep your device on auto-update to be the first to try that!
2025.14 should feel familiar, intentional tweaks mean that the Paddling Screen gains somefeatures like allowing you to select craft before a session, wind and tide data moves to the top of the screen and menus to setup your session and PaddleLIVE® to the button, easier to reach and are a lot more consistent across the new Operating System across all your apps. To get to this page, just tap "Paddle" on the home screen in the app, this should make it clearer for new users who come to the app to understand how to strart tracking as well as be prominent enough for current users to find their way around.
The Account tab has been consolidated and moves to the top right. You can find your goals, App News, tips and tricks as well as support here.
While in-app navigation has been streamlined, this is the paddle app, for paddlers by paddlers and our award winning features remain unchanged. Paddling has had some minor visual updates as has the Trip Details.
“We look forward to seeing your sessions with the new version, and see how Paddle Logger helps you progress as a paddler.”
